Middleborough, Mass. − Sager Electronics, a North American distributor of interconnects, passives and electromechanical (IP&E) devices, has expanded its franchise agreement with Pancon Connectors (formerly ITW Pancon) to include Ark-Les Connectors and Paktron Capacitors. The component maker manufactures custom and standard connectors as well as multilayer polymer capacitors used in power and signal applications.
“This expanded partnership allows us to offer more solutions to our customers, especially those in the industrial and medical markets,” said Faris Aruri, Sager’s vice president of marketing, in a statement.
“As one of our top performing distribution partners, Sager Electronics played a key role in the sales strategy of ITW Pancon products,” said Mike Kirkman, president & CEO of Pancon, in a statement. “When the new Pancon Corporation was formed in 2011, we looked at Sager’s position in the market and their ability to reach and service new customers. It was natural to extend their product authorization beyond Pancon Connectors to include Ark-Les and Paktron products.”
The component manufacturer offers in-house design and production capabilities to meet requirements for a variety of markets including automotive, industrial, medical and telecommunications under the Pancon, Ark-Les and Paktron brand names.
