Bradford, Pa. − KOA Speer Electronics has expanded its RN73H series of ultra-high-precision resistors with the introduction of a 0402 (1E) size version. These thin-film (metal) chip resistors feature high heat resistance (up to +155°C) and ultra-high-precision (±0.1%) tolerance. Applications include transportation, avionics and medical markets, particularly in applications where high temperature/high humidity are design considerations.
The RN73H1E chip resistor offers a power rating of 1/16 (0.063) watts (W) and temperature coefficient ratio (TCR) values of ±10 ~ ±50 ppm/°C. The 0402 (1E) offers a precision tolerance of 0.1% ~ 1.0% and a resistance range of 10 Ω ~ 300 kΩ. The resistor also features an enhanced moisture resistance (85°C ±2°C, 85% ±4% RH, 1000h) thanks to a special protective layer over resistive film construction.
The RN73H1E is AEC-Q200 qualified. It is available with lead-free terminations to meet EU RoHS requirements.
The RN73H chip resistor series is available in sizes from 0402 (1E) to 1210 (2E). They feature a power rating range of .063 W to .25 W, resistances up to 1 MΩ and maximum working voltages between 50 V and 400 V.
