Acromag was recognized for their quality and performance when presented with the Four Star Supplier Excellence Award for 2012 by Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) this May. Out of about 5,000 Raytheon IDS suppliers worldwide, Acromag was among a handful of select companies to receive the Four Star Award for showing a commitment to quality and exceeding customer requirements. Four stars are awarded only to those suppliers who achieve over a 97% on-time and quality performance for the previous twelve months.
Acromag supplies a number of embedded computer products to Raytheon IDS including FPGA modules, mezzanine module carrier cards and I/O processing boards. These products are used in a variety of projects across several Raytheon facilities. Raytheon’s IDS business unit specializes in air and missile defense, large land- and sea-based radars and systems for managing command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I). It also produces air traffic management systems, sonars, torpedoes and electronic systems for ships.
Raytheon IDS established the annual Supplier Excellence Awards program to recognize suppliers who have provided outstanding service and partnership. Award candidates are held to high standards, particularly against three important criteria: on-time delivery measures, sustained performance on quality, and commitment to continuous process and quality improvement.
