






X-Factor Communications, a premium provider of digital signage, enterprise messaging and alerts software today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement for the delivery of new and unique turnkey digital signage, mobile and enterprise communications products and services to customers in the Americas with Avnet Embedded, a division of Avnet Electronics Marketing Americas, a business region of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT).
Avnet Embedded provides a full suite of embedded solutions supporting a broad array of applications – from storage, computing, software and networking products, to disk drives, flat panels and embedded boards from industry-leading suppliers. This agreement allows Avnet and X-Factor to deliver a range of solutions to the marketplace, including X-Factor’s new HTML5 multi device software platform, enabling easy-to-use content publishing and management combined with comprehensive support services and displays, showcasing the new Samsung Smart Signage Platform. Applications for these solutions include safety, awareness, compliance, emergency notification, training and advertising solutions.

Avnet and X-Factor are also working closely with the Samsung’s Smart Signage solutions team on advanced integration capabilities for Samsung Smart Signage Platform displays, desktops, smartphones, tablets and printers.
