Riverside, Calif. - Bourns, Inc. has extended its family of LAN 10/100/1000 Base-T transformers with a model designed specifically for Ethernet-based applications with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality. The new model also delivers an extended operating temperature (-40 to +85 °C) making it suitable for harsh environment applications. Designated Model SM51589PEL, the new LAN transformer can be used as an alternate component to Bourns’ existing Model SM51589EL.
Model SM51589EL is compliant with IEEE802.3 standards and features 5K VAC dielectric withstanding voltage. The device is RoHS compliant.
