(NYSE:AVT), a leading global technology distributor, today announced that Wade McDaniel, vice president of solutions architecture, Avnet Velocity, will be a featured speaker at The Logistics & Supply Chain Forum. The conference will be held at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in Scottsdale, Ariz. on November 2-4, 2014. McDaniel will present a session, titled “Does an Omnichannel Really Exist in the Industrial Space?”
During his session on Monday, November 3, McDaniel will discuss how logistics organizations can apply an omnichannel approach to the industrial supplier space. He will also explain how to define warehouse, handling and transportation requirements for specific customer segments to create a positive impact on cost and service models.
