Supplyframe, a provider of electronic component research platforms, now includes detailed information for more than 3 million frequency control product part numbers from Ecliptek Corporation. Delivered via Ecliptek’s automated Data Download, the program electronically delivers part numbers, parametric and regulatory data and product descriptions directly to Supplyframe’s users worldwide. It also includes factory stock availability.
Electronics components inventory search and/or data aggregator websites like those in Supplyframe’s network help buyers do their jobs better by delivering accurate parts data easier and faster. The supply chain information includes technical data, environmental compliance data, lead times, pricing, and lifecycle/obsolescence information.
“Ecliptek is a leading manufacturer in frequency control products and having them tied directly into the SupplyFrame content network is extremely valuable to our audience. We’re excited to be able to present their product information updates firsthand to the six million professionals using SupplyFrame.” said Andy Brown, VP of content services at SupplyFrame, in a statement.
Ecliptek’s automated data transfer program eliminates the need for manual entry or mining of data by delivering the most accurate, comprehensive information available, said Ecliptek.
“Supplyframe is an excellent addition to our automated Data Download program,” stated Robert Zarrow, Ecliptek vice president of Global Customer Support. “Their multiple platforms serving the length and breadth of the global supply chain offer Ecliptek new abilities to reach a much broader customer base.”
The two companies have worked closely to integrate Ecliptek’s millions of unique part numbers delivered by the Data Download across the applicable component platforms under the Supplyframe umbrella, according to Zarrow. These include the company’s engineering network platforms parts.io, findchips, supplyfx and datsheet.net.
“All of our download recipients, including Supplyframe, Findchips and parts.io receive Ecliptek’s updates regularly,” said Zarrow. “We have tailored each recipient’s Download file of more than three million verified Ecliptek frequency control (crystals and oscillators) part numbers to meet their specific requirements for parametric data and mutually agreed upon update schedules.”
The system routinely sends data feed files – based on approved schedules – to its information partners including authorized distributors, such as Arrow Electronics, Cytech, Serial, SMD and URGroup, and electronics industry data aggregators, including Octopart, OemsCart, and SiliconExpert Technologies.
Ecliptek also recently upgraded its My Parts List app to send email notifications whenever the compliance status of saved part numbers is updated to help customers meet environmental compliance requirements.
