Which social media networks are most effective for companies within the logistics and supply chain industries? What are the key benefits realized by companies who use social media? What challenges do companies face?
Fronetics Strategic Advisors, a management consulting firm, is conducting its annual survey on social media within the logistics and supply chain industries. The objective of the survey is to not only learn about current social media use, motivations, preferences, benefits and challenges, but to also identify trends and changes.
Fronetics’ 2014 survey found that although companies within the logistics and supply chain industries are relative newcomers to social media, the majority of companies are realizing positive results. Specifically, respondents reported that social media use has enabled them to: increase engagement with customers, increase market intelligence, and increase business intelligence. Not surprisingly, the key challenges identified by respondents were: time constraints, budget constraints, and a lack of an identified strategy.
Take the survey and you will help Fronetics gather information that your company will be able to use to leverage your social media strategy. Results will be published and will be available on the Fronetics website. Note that all responses will be reported in aggregate, and no identifiable information (individual or company) will be shared with anyone.
If your company is part of the logistics or supply chain industries please take the time to take the survey. The survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete. Here’s the link to the survey.
