(AMPT), a leader in the global independent electronic component distribution industry for over 38 years, held their 2016 annual Global Management Meeting at its headquarters in San Clemente, California from January 11th to January 15th, 2016. Regional managers from the Americas, Europe, and Asia, as well as executive management participated in the meetings, reviewing the 2016 business plans.
Throughout the meetings, global managers from sales, purchasing, IT, logistic, quality, and marketing, discussed and finalized horizontal and vertical strategic expansion plans. Based on the positive trends from 2015, with the market forecasts focused on newly developed technology segments, AMPT managers foresee that 2016 is going to be a strong year for the electronic industry. Advanced MP is planning to take advantage of the new industry segments and break into new regions, while continuing to streamline internal process and procedures to ensure that they are providing the best services for new and existing customers.
To better serve their customers and support expanding local business, Advanced MP is also increasing resources globally to its logistic centers, as well as their sales and purchasing teams. “Every January, our regional and executive management teams get together to review the past year and look forward to the coming year. This has been our tradition for the past several years. By doing so, we are able to get a clear picture and deep understanding of the global markets and plan accordingly.” Mr. Kamran Malek, Global VP of Marketing at AMPT says, “In 2016, we are looking to expand our global logistics centers and invigorate our quality systems to accommodate the business growth.
