






As the supply chain and procurement departments become increasingly strategic, large OEMs should start looking at employee happiness. Research indicates that happy employees are productive employees.
Researchers in the economics department at the University of Warwick, in fact, found that happy individuals were approximately 12% more productive than average. Further, satisfied employees are healthier, more generous, and more sociable. The big question remains: What makes workers happy?
Although it's not rocket science, the answer may surprise you. Higher paid employees are happy, but that's not the only way to be happier. In fact, the average employee can do a lot to proactively increase their happiness level at the office.
