ECIA's Executive Conference attendees praised the planning committee for the 2017 program, including one who gushed, "This year's program was the creme de la creme of ECIA Conferences." With record attendance and an upbeat mood, attendees went home with lots to think about. Another attendee wrote, "The entire ECIA meeting was a real success and the speakers were very strong this year. It is clear that the ECIA leadership is taking the organization in the right direction for all of the stakeholders and it is much appreciated. There was a tremendous amount of content to digest... and I am planning to share some of this with my entire team in our next update meeting."
Conference Chair Blair Haas was pleased with the outcome. "The planning committee did an outstanding job of selecting relevant topics that added to the content and depth of the program and really created a special moment in our industry's evolution," he commented. Starting with an economic forecast for the general economy and then one that was industry specific; moving to addressing industry challenges with new insights and strategies, and then ending with eye opening and inspiring presentations to take organizations to the next level, this year's program was perhaps one of the strongest to date. "This was the first year that everyone I talked to walked away with something from each session. The planning committee listened to what the customer wanted and gave it to them," wrote an attendee.
"I know there are a number of people within ECIA, on the planning committee and elsewhere that played a huge role in the success of the conference. The bar has clearly been raised. I don't know how the past two days could have gone better," concluded Dave Doherty, ECIA Board of Directors Chairman.
The 2018 ECIA Executive Conference will be October 21-23, again at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel.
ECIA would like to enthusiastically thank the 2017 ECIA Executive Sponsors.
