About Women in Electronics
Fueled by authenticity, courage and commitment, Women in Electronics (WE) is a community of progressive women leaders at all stages of their careers dedicated to the professional and personal leadership development of women in the fast-paced electronics Industry. WE was formed in the fall of 2017 by a group of 20 inaugural women coming from all across the country to meet for the first conference in Laguna Beach, CA. The group was built with the premise of women working collaboratively to find inspiration, strength, and empowerment through a sense of community. The spirit of unity connects the women in a community to call home in the industry and also with the valued industry leaders who support them in their leadership journeys. The goals of the organization are to empower women through networking opportunities, develop women through a virtual leadership training and development program, advocate for women through an industry wide formalized mentorship program, and celebrate women by lifting them up in support and celebrating their accomplishments.
