The semiconductor supply chain squeeze has been tough on OEM customers – tougher on some than others
Andrew Girardi brings over 25 years of experience in the defense and electronics components industry to the Flip Electronics team having had senior leadership sales and business roles at Lattice Semiconductor, Microsemi Corp (Microchip), NVIDIA, Xilinx, and IDT. Most recently, as part of Lattice Semiconductor, Andrew led the Business Management team, responsible for worldwide pricing optimization initiatives and margin enhancement programs that contributed to the success of Lattice. At Microsemi, Mr. Girardi led the Business Operations and Tactical Marketing teams for the Integrated Circuits and Systems Group. In addition, Mr. Girardi had leadership and sales roles in solar technology startups Twin Creeks Technologies, Miasole’ (acquired by Hanergy), and Solarbridge Technologies (acquired by Sunpower). As part of Solarbridge, Mr. Girardi drove OEM sales engagements in the North American and European markets. Andrew is a strong advocate for creating cultures of collaboration and he honed his leadership skills as a US Army officer, serving in overseas assignments in field artillery combat ready units. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University.
